During trauma, the nervous system adapts to keep us safe through survival responses like fight, flight, freeze, fawn, or flop.

These responses are designed to protect you in moments of perceived danger. But sometimes, the brain’s threat-detection system becomes hypersensitive - confusing everyday experiences for emergency situations and triggering those same survival responses long after they’re needed.

And when that happens repeatedly, we stop just experiencing the patterns… and start becoming them.

  • You don’t just fight occasionally - you become someone who's combative and argumentative.
  • You don’t just flee occasionally - you become an escapist, constantly cutting and running.

(Or a procrastinator, a people pleaser, a collapser...)

Over time, the survival response becomes your survival identity.

And because identity shapes the way you show up in the world - it directly decreases your capacity for all the things you want most in life.

Before becoming a coach, I spent over 12 years working as an Occupational Therapist - helping more than 11,000 people improve their quality of life and reach their highest potential at work and at home.

My role was to support people with both mental and physical challenges - helping them improve their health and wellbeing, increase their independence, and create sustainable, meaningful change in their everyday lives.

That experience gave me a deep understanding of how the brain, body, and nervous system work together - and what actually creates lasting behavioral transformation and real-world results.

But over time - I realized something important:

MOST HIGH-ACHIEVING WOMEN AREN’T STRUGGLING BECAUSE THEY LACK CAPABILITY.
THEY AREN’T EVEN STRUGGLING BECAUSE THEY LACK SKILL.
THEY’RE STRUGGLING BECAUSE THEIR NERVOUS SYSTEMS ARE STUCK IN A STATE OF SURVIVAL POST-TRAUMA.

So I expanded my work beyond traditional healthcare and trained in life coaching - where I could help ambitious women break free from that and become the most successful, fulfilled versions of themselves.

Since then, I’ve made it my mission to become as qualified as possible - combining my clinical background with additional modalities that support both the mind and body.

I’ve trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and Breathwork - and I’ll continue investing in my professional development for as long as I practice.

I also have a special interest in neurowellness and high-performance for women, so when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me deep-diving into topics like exercise, nutrition, supplements, peptides, wearable tech, recovery, and nervous system optimization.

But Make No Mistake...

I don't do this work because my nervous system has always been regulated. I do this work because - for a long time - it wasn't. I too experienced trauma, and was stuck in survival mode as a result.

I won't divulge the details around what happened (because they're actually the least important part of my story), but trust me when I say that I get it and I've got you.

I became a freezer and a fawner. I'd avoid conflict, shut down in conversation, and chronically stay busy to run away from difficult feelings. Or I'd attempt to preemptively calm aggressors or diffuse tension by disregarding my own needs. 

But fast forward to now, I'm no longer operating this way. I've regulated my nervous system such that I've stepped into my thriving self instead, and am helping other women do the same.

I share this to assure you that when you work with me, you will be fully seen, heard, and understood. I hold a safe space for you to heal and grow without criticism, judgment, rejection or abandonment. That is my promise to you.
